Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of and incorporated into the Lyceum Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Lyceum, including School Owners, their staff, and their members. By using the Service you agree not to do, or help anyone else do, any of the following.
1. Prohibited content
- Content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to use.
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors, real or simulated.
- Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or that incites or threatens violence.
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or content that demeans people based on protected characteristics.
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading offers, including fake credentials, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, and counterfeit goods.
- Malware, phishing, or content designed to compromise security or steal credentials or payment data.
- Regulated goods or services you are not licensed to sell, and content that violates a third party's privacy or publicity rights.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or importing contacts without proper consent.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or data not meant for you.
- Probing, scanning, overloading, scraping, or otherwise disrupting the Service or its infrastructure.
- Circumventing usage limits, access controls, or any fees, or reselling the Service without authorization.
- Misusing AI features, including to generate prohibited content or to mislead people about AI-generated output.
- Impersonating Lyceum, another person, or an organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
3. Age and minors
The Service is intended for users 13 and older. School Owners who serve minors are responsible for obtaining any required parental or guardian consent and for complying with laws that protect children (such as COPPA).
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion, remove or disable content, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, and report unlawful activity to authorities. We may act immediately and without notice when content or conduct poses a risk to people, the Service, or third parties.
